In 1966, Donyale Luna became the first black model to appear on Vogue. That same year, Time Magazine labeled Luna "The Luna Year". Featured in iconic Italian director, Fredrico Fellini's Fellini Satyricon and numerous Andy Warhol underground films, Lana made a lasting impact on pop culture worldwide.. Though her career was short and sweet, we remember Luna and her legacy.
